What fees and deposits apply to a one-bedroom apartment?
The security deposit for a one-bedroom home is $200, due at the time of application. Each applicant pays a $60 application fee, and there is a $150 administrative fee.
Are utilities included in the rent?
Utilities are not included in the base rent. Water is included, and a monthly service package of $145.50 covers pest control, valet trash, maintenance, and high-speed internet through Spectrum. Electricity is billed separately through CPS Energy, and you can set up service by calling 210-353-2222.
What are the lease terms?
Standard lease terms range from 14 to 18 months. Signing within this range lets you take advantage of current move-in specials.
What are the requirements to qualify?
Your monthly income should be at least 3.5 times the rent. A standard credit and background check is required, with a credit score of 550 or higher, and applicants should not have any outstanding balances with other apartment communities. You will need a valid government-issued photo ID and proof of income, such as recent pay stubs or bank statements. Renter's insurance is also required.
Is parking available?
Yes. Open parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis at no extra cost. Covered carports are available for $75 per month. The One Bedroom Cottage (A1u) floor plan includes a 1-car driveway.
Is smoking allowed?
No. Birdsong Sonoma Ranch is a non-smoking community, and smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property.
